School Learning Plan

At Queensborough Middle School we aim to optimize student engagement and achievement by fostering a growth mindset at the school where all members of the learning community believe they can develop their efficacy through effort, strategy development and use, and perseverance.

For the 2024-2025 school year, our staff will continue to focus on last year’s goal of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). In particular, our goal is to develop the five SEL competencies with our students: self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, social awareness and responsible decision-making. However, this year our intention is to transfer these competencies to support and empower students as they navigate technology and the online world.
