Planning ahead for the 2020-2021 School Year
Planning ahead for the 2020-2021 School Year:
*Plans for school start in September will be finalized once the district receives direction from the Ministry of Education later this summer. These plans will be shared with you once they are available. Please be sure to check your email and the District website (https://newwestschools.ca/) regularly throughout the summer for updates. Expect to hear from the school during the last week of August with details regarding the first day of school in September.
Please mark your calendar with the following dates:
- Friday, July 3 Registrations for 2020-2021 School Year closed for Summer Break
- Monday, July 6 QMS Office closed for Summer Break
- Monday, August 31 Registrations for 2020-2021 School Year open (registration location to be announced)
- Monday, August 31 QMS Office opens
- Monday, September 7 Labour Day Statutory Holiday
- Tuesday, September 8 First day of school for students*
