Foundation Skills Assessment
October 2023: Foundation Skills Assessment (FSA) is a set of reading, writing and numeracy assessments of student learning in Grades 4 and 7.
These provincial assessments are administered in the fall and provide a ‘snapshot’ of how well BC students are doing in key foundational areas of learning. They also play a role in helping plan for student success.
